This should’ve been a cover 8 different ways. For starters, MSU knelt out at about the 5 yard lines…dicks. Shut up about “wah we don’t like running up the score” nonsense, everyone likes running up the score, especially when my dollars are on the line. MSU more than doubled Boise in offense this game and Le’veon Bell made himself a national, although weird name I likely botched, name, rattling off 210 yards on 44 (44?!?) carries. But 4 turnovers kept Boise in the game. The D looked good and Bell is a beast…MSU terrifes me.
Navy vs. Notre Dame (-16) (in Dublin, Ireland)
Pick: Notre Dame
Result: 50-10 ND, WIN
MURRRRRRDERRRRRRRRRRR. This was an absolute beatdown for the Irish. The offense looked good thanks to the beginning of the RISE OF GOLSON and Theo Riddick showing he wants to be on the field once Cierre Wood gets back from his suspension.
#8 Michigan vs. #2 Alabama (-14) (in Jerryworld)
Pick: Michigan
Result: 41-14 Bama, LOSS
Whoooooooooops. Bama is that damn good. I mean, this was just a beatdown. I don’t quite want to say Michigan can be overlooked, I just think Bama is that much better. Nicksabanrolltide.
#14 Clemson (-3.5) @ Auburn
Pick: Clemson
Result: 26-19 Clemson, WIN
The Clemsoning did not begin week 1. Thanks to 231 from Andre Ellington, nobody seemed to miss Sammy Watkins here.
Georgia Tech @ #16 Virginia Tech (-7.5)
Pick: Va Tech
Result: 20-17 VT (OT), LOSS
Damn Bees, at least I made money on this game thanks to everyone betting on VT right before the game kicked off. This game was incredibly sloppy by both teams. But Logan Thomas did just enough, and while Tevin Washington played a pretty damn good game on the whole, picked a hilariously bad time to throw a HILARIOUSLY bad interception.
