It’s literally pathetic how bad I’ve been this year. Surely that just means I’m due, right? Please?
Season Record: 4-11 (27%)
#18 Michigan @ #11 Notre Dame (-5)
Pick: Notre Dame
I’m still terrified about the Irish secondary, especially with Jamoris Slaughter now out for the year. But Michigan has shown signs of struggle this year (Bama murder and squeaking by Air Force) and the Irish D, especially the front 7, has been just beastly this year. Further, the offense has a nice balance to it and after last year’s choke, this is gonna be a game the players want more than ever. Here’s hoping they shut down UM as much as they did MSU. Hopefully then we can give the entire state to Canada, because seriously? Fuck Michigan.
#10 Clemson @ #4 Florida St (-14.5)
Clemson is very good at doing the opposite of what you expect. I’m actually picking them to mysteriously upset FSU so when they lose to Duke or whoever it is that much funnier. That’s a big spread so I’ll take the points.
#22 Arizona @ #3 Oregon (-22)
That’s a huge spread, but Oregon is super good. Arizona has had a nice 3-0 start, including a great win over Okie State. But they don’t have the horses to keep up with the Ducks. Quack quack
#15 Kansas State @ #4 Oklahoma (-14)
Another spread that’s bigger than I’d like to take, but OU is coming off a bye, and Bob Stoops is not a guy I want to go up against with an extra week of practice and a gun like Landry Jones’. Plus, KSt only beat the mighty North Texas by 14 last week, so I’m gonna go with the Sooners and the only damn song they know here.
Florida Atlantic @ #1 Alabama (-49.5)
We haven’t done a gratuitous line yet, this seems like a fun time for one. Will Saban show deference to the mighty Schnelly? Of course not, the place where his heart should be is a piece of cold machinery forged in the fiery depths of hell itself.
You know what to do kids.
