A happy Thanksgiving to all of you fine folks. I’ve never been as thankful for college football as I have this year for obvious reasons. In honor of the gluttony this day stands for, we’re going with a veritable cornucopia of games this weekend. While last week turned into a huge weekend, the slate sounded pretty below average. That is certainly not the case here. Away we go

Well last week was just an abject failure. I’m terrible, and only one of yall are over .500. The only good news to missing these picks is I’ve bet against several of them due to having more knowledge on Saturday than Thursday. Still, crikey. Let’s turn this shit around shall we?

Well after an insane set of games last week, we come to “rivalry week” with all eyes on the SEC as they sit 1-2-3 in the BCS and a huge game between LSU and Arkansas on Friday. That game being Friday, and the last Lone Star Showdown being Thursday, forced an early set of picks. This could lead to lines that will change by Saturday, but as always, pick against the lines as listed here so we are all on the same page. Let’s do the damn thing, Thanksgiving flavored. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, and gluttony, we will have more than five games. Lots of classic rivalry games featuring ranked teams, combined with possibility of people missing early games makes sense.

There’s been a whole lot of College Football news this week, with none of it relating to football itself. Many people have written great pieces on the horrible situation at Penn State, I don’t plan to. I’m here because I love sports, and sports are supposed to be fun. In honor of that, we’re going jumbo sized this week. Sure picking 5 games is fun, but this week if you pick 5 games, I’ll throw in 2 more for free. That’s right, 7 games! If you’re behind in the standings you can make a big jump this week. If you are crushing it, you can step on the throat of the silly weaklings. That and I don’t want to get yelled at for leaving games out. It would’ve been 8 if GT-VT was Saturday instead of tonight. Let’s do this thing.

I hate football at this point. It also just occured to me I forgot to post results from last week…yah, I’ll do that next. On to picks that will likely be horrible because I, much like my team and college football, suck. Jumpy time
