It’s only 13 episodes, but it’s also not guaranteed to be the last season.
Way better news than I expected when the hiatus happened. Here’s hoping it’s not the last 13.

Chuck is having it’s series finale tonight. It’s always been a very goofy, nerdy show, but I love it. It’s funny, has some good plot twists, some attractive women, really everything in my wheelhouse. One of the best parts of the show has always been the music. If it wasn’t for the show, I probably would’ve never discovered Frightened Rabbit, which is now one of my favorite bands. The music of the show has long been one of it’s best parts. This site has a break down of all the songs that have played during the show. If you like the show, it’s some good stuff. So yah, there ya go.
(this is a post for Community fans, clarifying an odd rumor about a recent episode. No need to read more if you’re not absurdly obsessed with our show).
I have been trying not to read reviews, and especially the discussions under them, this season, as I have become emotionally fused with our TV…
Must read for any Community fan. I loved the idea of the alternate timeline was the real one and we were out of order. Especially given all the Back to the Future talk that prefaced the season ( I think it was a Don Glover interview that started it) that I literally just remembered at 3AM as I read this. Either way, the fact that Dan Harmon actually looks at all the feedback and makes posts like this is fucking amazing. I know people like other comedies out there more, but this is my favorite one on TV for many reasons. Awesome
If you’ve never seen it, just watch the Pilot of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. The writing is just insanely inspired. Especially when you take into account all of the coke issues that got Aaron Sorkin (the guy behind this show, the West Wing, and arguably my favorite show of all time: Sports Night) into some trouble. I think the death knell of the show was the fact that it came out the same year as 30 Rock. Much like with Sports Night, Studio 60 bounced between Drama and Comedy about every 2 minutes. Personally, I enjoy it. I never put Studio 60 on the same level of Sports Night, but that could be my undying dream of being a sportscaster that I continue to refuse to let go to. Oh well. As for Studio 60, it’s a damn shame they only got 1 season. Perry and Whitford carry a big part of the load, but Amanda Peet actually stands out the most for me. She kills the deadpan humor expertly written for her every time. Hell of a show, if you have Netflix, just check out the first 2 episodes. The early part of the season was much better than the latter. But you can chalk that up to shows on the chopping block getting desperate, look at Arrested Development. Just trust me, check it out.

Incredible. Television is dead. Long live television.

I feel like I need to apologize, I’m one of the jackasses that never watched this show. Now, to be fair, I don’t even think I get Starz, and I had never even heard of this show until about 2 weeks ago. After finally learning about it, I got through all 20 episodes in under 2 days. If you have Netflix, it’s on Netflix instant. Trust me, unless you hate fun, check this show out. It really is hilarious and amazingly well written. On another note, I’m not necessarily sure it ending is the worst thing ever. It wrapped up pretty well, and with 2 main characters likely not able to come back due to other shows, it may have gone downhill really quick. Either way, this is greatness. Get on it.
