Shenanigans....Chicanery

Today’s awesome but totally nerdy thing:

Jon Fitch is known by most people for being an MMA fighter. He, like me, has found that the game Skyrim is awesome and created his own twitter account to talk about the game. I made a joke to him yesterday, and ended up getting a follow. Is this noteworthy? Not at all, but pretty cool to have a UFC fighter following my hack tweets.

This is why I love Twitter. Merely seconds after Keith Olbermann from 1994 shows up in tonight’s 30 for 30 doc, here’s what I saw.

So Bacsik works for the sports radio station I listen to here in Dallas, this was his series of tweets during tonight’s game 4 between the Mavs and Spurs. Mike was also a former MLB pitcher, most notably, he gave up home run #756 to Barry Bonds. You’d expect a former pro athlete and someone who’s worked in radio for awhile to know some of these you probably can’t get away with (namely the dirty mexicans and blowing up the NBA offices). One of the funnier bits the station has is one of the hosts reading Tiger Woods illicit texts. As my good buddy @ndtex said, I’m hoping they do the same with these tweets. This should be fun.
