So the console I use the most leads off this year’s conference? Works for me. I like watching these and just going with a stream of consciousness on my thoughts, using the all new, limited edition, BULLETPOINT feature (note, may not actually be new or limited). Jump with me and let’s get a little nerdy, shall we?

At least half of the games I own come from EA or one of their subsidiaries. Most of them being EA Sports games clearly, but also Need for Speed and my favorite series going right now, Mass Effect. ME3, as yall can tell from my earlier post during the Microsoft presser, is my most anticipated game by a long shot. But I love hearing what to expect out of my sports games as well. To the bulletpoints!

The only way to get the game is to buy EA’s NBA Elite. 2K has been dominating EA in NBA sims the last few years, prompting EA to change the name and allegedly a lot about their offering starting this year. I guess this is one way to get more people to join in. I would’ve rather seen it as a cheaper download off of Xbox Live or PSN, but oh well. There you have it kids.
It’s also worth noting that the 360/PS3 version you get will not have the Remix Tour mode that the Wii has. For those who just want the fun they remember, not a big deal. But it is worth noting.

Thanks to the always great PastaPadre (website here and twitter here) here is a look at the Notre Dame entrance from this years NCAA Football 11. EA finally brought back authentic entrances for certain teams, including things like the Michigan banner on the field, Howard’s Rock at Clemson, and the immortal Play Like a Champion Today sign of the Irish. If you are a sports gamer like myself, you need to follow Pasta. He frequently has some of the best info on sports games, especially the EA Sports offerings. Seeing this gets me pumped not only for the game to come out, but that college football is that much closer.
